Metairie Bank Announces Employee Retirement and Promotions

METAIRIE, LA, JANUARY 9, 2018}  Longtime Metairie Bank employee, Ray Markase, retired from the bank at the end of 2018, having worked there for over 13 years. Markase served the bank well as vice president, human resources director, security officer, information security officer and head of facilities. He was a valued part of the Metairie Bank family, and we wish him the very best.

Glenda Grabert has been promoted to vice president, human resources director, and will also continue to fulfill her corporate training responsibilities, as well as some of the duties for Facilities management. Before coming to Metairie Bank, Grabert held retail and training roles at Gulf Coast Bank and Hibernia/Capital One. She will report directly to Metairie Bank president and CEO, Ron E. Samford, Jr. with support from Kaycie Bladsacker, who joined the bank earlier this year in human resources.

Metairie Bank CFO, John LeBlanc, will assume duties as Metairie Bank’s Security Information Officer, as well as some of the responsibility for management of Facilities. LeBlanc oversaw facilities in his previous role at Bank of New Orleans, and has a wealth of knowledge in this particular area.  

Metairie Bank compliance officer, Monica Dupeire, will add security officer to her duties. Monica is currently the president of MOBSA (Metropolitan Orleans Bank Security Association), and has been involved in security in her previous roles with FNBC and First Bank.
