‘Men Who Cook’ Event To Benefit Covington’s Children's Advocacy Center’s Hope House

COVINGTON, LA – The third annual “Men Who Cook” will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2015, from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on the top level of the St. Tammany Parish Justice Center Parking Garage, 701 N. Columbia St., in Covington.

         Proceeds from the event will benefit the Children's Advocacy Center’s Hope House, an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to ending the cycle of child abuse by providing a path to recovery and a bridge to justice for victims of abuse.

         At the charity event,  local "celebrity" cooks will partner with local restaurants to prepare tastings of their favorite dishes in a competitive cook-off.

         Winners will be chosen in two of the three categories by those who purchase "tip tickets" and award them to their favorite cook/ restaurant team.
