Mechatronics Program Participants to Meet for Signing Ceremony and Program Commencement

NEW ORLEANS – Greater New Orleans, Inc., along with Nunez, Delgado and Northshore Technical Community Colleges will host a signing ceremony for the first cohort of the Mechatronics Apprenticeship Program. Details were shared in a press release.

Elmer Chocolate, Laitram, and Zatarain’s have partnered with these three institutions to enhance and prepare each apprentice for a career in advanced manufacturing technology.

Beginning on Aug. 5, the two-year commitment will provide both technical classroom instruction and on-the-job training using an earn-while-you-learn model with training costs covered completely by the employer.
