McGlinchey Stafford Welcomes Katherine McCoy To Business Development Team

NEW ORLEANS — McGlinchey Stafford announced Katherine McCoy has joined the firm’s Business Development team as Communications & Public Relations Manager. She is located in the firm’s New Orleans office.

         As Communications & Public Relations Manager, McCoy will oversee the firm’s internal and external communications, including the firm’s public relations initiatives, professional announcements, social media, newsletters, client alerts, and blog.

         “We are thrilled to have Katherine on our team,” said Tom Smanik, Director of Business Development for the firm. “She brings a wealth of experience in the legal marketing industry which will further enhance our communication and PR programs.”

         McCoy has nearly eight years of experience in legal marketing, with a background encompassing communications, public relations, advertising, graphic design, event management, and business development efforts. Prior to joining McGlinchey Stafford, she served as Marketing Coordinator for Liskow & Lewis, APLC, and as Marketing Communications & PR Assistant for Jones Walker, LLP.

         McCoy is a 2007 graduate of the A. B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Management, cum laude.
