NEW ORLEANS (press release) — McGlinchey Stafford is pleased to welcome skilled litigator Christine Tenley as a Member (Partner) in the Labor and Employment group. She will be working from the firm’s New Orleans office and is also licensed in Alabama and Georgia.
With more than two decades’ experience handling national litigation, trials, class and collective actions, and appellate work, Christine focuses her practice on matters relating to employment and commercial business litigation. She regularly represents clients in the technology, retail, financial services and manufacturing industries, for whom she has been appointed national and regional litigation counsel.
“Christine is skilled at strategizing on clients’ most difficult and costly workplace challenges, always dedicated to pursuing a successful resolution,” said Magdalen Blessey Bickford, Managing Member of the New Orleans office and Chair of the firm’s Labor and Employment Section. “Her experience serving as first chair in numerous complex investigations and administrative proceedings, as well as her comfort in the court room, will make her an incredible asset to the team.”
In response to the global pandemic, Christine has become well-versed in guiding clients through COVID-19’s impact on the workplace, including navigating the complexities of office vaccination policies and developing best practices for issues relating to employee leave.
“In addition to its scope of practice and broad national footprint, what drew me to McGlinchey was the firm’s focus on the future of law and client service,” Christine said. “I look forward to supporting my clients in this progressive context.”
Before joining McGlinchey, Christine was a partner at two Southeastern U.S. regional law firms and of counsel to an Am Law 200 firm dedicated exclusively to employment and labor law. She is licensed to practice in Alabama, Georgia, and Louisiana. Christine earned her bachelor’s degree from Stevenson University and her J.D. from Tulane University Law School.
