NEW ORLEANS —Today, Mayor Mitch Landrieu, along with Wells Fargo, will host the fifth STRIVE NOLA Cohort V graduation ceremony, at the New Orleans Jazz Market, 1436 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd., at 2:00 p.m.
Launched in March 2015, STRIVE NOLA seeks to connect disadvantaged jobseekers to employment opportunities through anchor institutions by providing workforce case management, foundational skills training and supportive services. STRIVE NOLA is in line with Mayor Landrieu’s Network for Economic Strategy – a comprehensive effort to connect disadvantaged job seekers and businesses to new opportunities by working to ensure that every resident can take part in the city’s economic growth through partnerships with local training providers, social service agencies and community advocates.
