Mayor Landrieu To Give Free Smoke Detectors In Broadmoor

NEW ORLEANS — Mayor Mitch Landrieu will join NOFD Superintendent Timothy McConnell, the American Red Cross, elected officials and community members to canvass the Broadmoor neighborhood today installing free smoke detectors in residents’ homes.

         District B Councilmember Latoya Cantrell and members of the American Red Cross of Southeast Louisiana will join the effort.

         They will be meeting at the Rosa F. Keller Library and Community Center, located at 4300 S. Broad St. at 2:00 p.m.
