NEW ORLEANS — Today, Mayor Mitch Landrieu hosts the first ever Civic Innovation Summit as part of New Orleans Entrepreneur Week (NOEW), at Manning’s Restaurant, 519 Fulton St., from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
The summit will consist of two panel discussions highlighting innovative approaches to governing and delivering public services in New Orleans and beyond. Audience members will also participate in breakout sessions led by city officials where they can engage around public sector challenges.
This summit provides a venue for learning more about civic innovation in advance of the City’s 300th anniversary in 2018, especially through the framework of the City’s comprehensive resilience strategy – Resilient New Orleans – a concrete, strategic roadmap for the City of New Orleans to build urban resilience.
