NEW ORLEANS — Matt Guy has been appointed partner in charge of the New Orleans office of Adams and Reese, a multidisciplinary law firm with over 300 attorneys and advisors practicing across 20 offices in 10 states and Washington, DC.
Guy is the leader of both the Adams and Reese Maritime Team and Insurance Team. He litigates matters stemming from marine construction, maritime, marine, construction, energy insurance, and worldwide oil and gas operations. He started his career in London working for a large firm representing clients in the insurance market there. Given his international background, he also assists clients in business immigration in obtaining, strategizing and complying with work visas, investor visas, employment-based green cards, permanent residence for talented individuals and other immigration documentation.
Guy serves as an adjunct faculty member at Tulane Law School as an instructor with the Civil Litigation Boot Camp, and teaches a course on energy law, policy and regulation.
