Martin Wine Cellar On Baronne Now Open

NEW ORLEANS – It’s the moment many local foodies and wine lovers have been waiting for. The doors to the 3827 Baronne St. Martin Wine Cellar are now open.

         Martin reps say the new, one-story, 14,000 square foot store is stocked with wine, spirits, beer, cheese and gourmet food.

         The 120 plus seat Bistro/ Deli will be open for lunch, happy hour, dinner and Sunday brunch and offer daily chef specials including over stuffed sandwiches, salads, entrees, gourmet-to-go and catering for the Uptown area.

         Two separate parking lots will accommodate 60 vehicles.

         The reopening of the location, where the company started 68 years ago, was partially funded by The Office of Community Development Disaster Recovery Unit and Whitney Bank.

         The new building was designed by Waggonner & Ball Architects and was constructed by F.H. Myers Construction.
