Mandeville Plans Searchable Online Ordinances

MANDEVILLE, LA (AP) — The City of Mandeville may soon make all its ordinances searchable online, with monthly updates.

The St. Tammany Parish Council said in a news release Friday that it has introduced an ordinance to do that through a Florida company — Municipal Code Corp. of Tallahassee.

Council spokeswoman Amy Bouton says a draft of the 2,400-page proposed 2017 "Code of Ordinances" is online at the Parish Council website here.

She says the link to the new Code of Ordinances will be live on www.stpgov.org about 30 days after the Parish Council formally adopts the ordinance.
