“As you know, terrorists like ISIS have said they'll do whatever it takes to infiltrate America – including exploiting the current refugee crisis. David Vitter and I are working hard in the Senate and House of Representatives to make sure that doesn’t happen.

“You'd think it's a matter of common sense that we should do everything we can to stop them. But President Obama thinks otherwise.

“In the midst of his failed Middle East strategy, Obama's own administration admits they cannot properly vet Syrians seeking refugee status in our country. Yet the President says he still wants to bring 10,000 more.

“This is a terrible plan by President Obama — and like Senator David Vitter, I strongly oppose it.

“With a Democrat President whose policies could put our communities at risk, Louisiana needs David Vitter as its next Governor.

“David will protect Louisiana and all of those who call it home — and his record proves it. I applaud David’s commitment to standing up to President Obama when he tries to put Louisiana and America at risk.

“Louisianians understand that stopping President Obama’s radical refugee plan is a matter of common sense and a critical step toward protecting our national security. For this reason and so many others, I hope you'll join me in voting for David Vitter as Louisiana's next Governor.”
