Lusher Charter School Top K-12 School in the State

NEW ORLEANS – Lusher Charter School, a National Blue Ribbon School in partnership with Tulane University, announced in a press release that it has received an “A” school performance score from the Louisiana Department of Education. It is the highest-ranking K-12 school in Louisiana.
Each year, Lusher has consistently maintained an “A” score and this year grew its score from 122.2 to 123.1. Lusher was also named a Top Gains Honoree for the improvement made by students on state testing and an Equity Honoree school for the advancement made by students with disabilities, economically disadvantaged students, and/or English learners.
“I am so proud of our outstanding teachers, staff and students,” said CEO Kathy Riedlinger. “Lusher is a community of family and kindness, which permeates through all we do, and reflects in our successes. Our teachers are second to none and I credit them for this achievement.”
Lusher Charter School has two campuses that serve grades K-12. Its Willow Campus serves Lower School students in grades K-5 and its Freret Campus serves Middle and High School students in grades 6-12.
