Luncheon: Louisiana's Coastal Master Plan & Sediment Diversions: The Path Forward

The Propeller Club of the United States, Port of New Orleans will host a Lunch and Learn event featuring Mr. Bren Hasse of Louisiana’s Coastal Protection and Research Authority. 

 

The upcoming luncheon will be hosted at the Southern Yacht Club located at 105 North Roadway Street, New Orleans LA 70124 on Thursday, April 28, 2016 with a reception beginning at 11:30 a.m. and the luncheon scheduled to start promptly at 12:00 noon.

Mr. Hasse as the Chief of the Planning and Research Division of the Louisiana Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority will focus on updating members of the navigation industry on the status of Louisiana’s Comprehensive Master Plan for a Sustainable Coast.  

 

He will also utilize this opportunity to discuss the status of the Mississippi River Sediment Diversions proposed within the State’s Master Plan, including a recent agreement by the CPRA to advance both the Mid Barataria (75,000 cubic feet per second [cfs]) and the Mid Breton sediment diversions.
