Lugenbuhl’s Diaz-Yaeger Installed As Secretary Of National Hispanic Bar Association

NEW ORLEANS—Lugenbuhl, Wheaton, Peck, Rankin & Hubbard attorney and shareholder Elia Diaz-Yaeger has been installed as National Secretary of the Hispanic National Bar Association, which represents the interests of Hispanic legal professionals in the United States and its territories.

         Diaz-Yaeger was sworn in at the HNBA Annual Convention held in Boston in September. She previously served as HNBA Deputy Regional President XII. Diaz-Yaeger has served on the HNBA Board of Governors for the past six years.

         “We’re very proud of Elia’s passion in advancing the interests of Hispanic legal professionals, and we congratulate her on this prestigious position,” says Lugenbuhl shareholder Stewart Peck. “Her work benefits the Hispanic community, along with the legal profession as a whole.”

         Earlier this year, Diaz-Yaeger received the 2015 Human Rights Award from the Louisiana State Bar Association. The honor recognized her significant contributions in promoting diversity and inclusion in the legal profession..
