Lugenbuhl’s Cohn Selected As 60th Allstate Sugar Bowl President

NEW ORLEANS – Lugenbuhl, Wheaton, Peck, Rankin and Hubbard shareholder Stanley Cohn has been named the 60th president of the Allstate Sugar Bowl’s Committee.

         Cohn will oversee the annual playing of the Allstate Sugar Bowl Football Classic, as well as the bowl’s annual slate of more than 50 other events throughout this year.

         Cohn is a Tulane University graduate and has practiced with New Orleans-based law firm Lugenbuhl, Wheaton, Peck, Rankin and Hubbard for the past 30 years. He specializes in the areas of maritime, energy, oilfield and commercial litigation, as well as condominium law and business litigation.

         He has been a member of the Sugar Bowl Committee since 1998. In addition to his selection as the 2016-2017 President of the Allstate Sugar Bowl Committee, he is Past President of the New Orleans Bar Association and was also appointed to the 2017 host committee for the American Bar Association’s annual Business Law Section meeting, which will take place in New Orleans in April.
