BATON ROUGE – Louisiana State University and Fullstack Academy have launched a tech bootcamp program specializing in DevOps in addition to its existing coding and cybersecurity programs. Designed in partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS), the DevOps program will equip students with in-demand tech skills in infrastructure, automation, AWS cloud development operations, AWS cloud management, and Python in 26 weeks.
Analytics software company Burning Glass reports a 63% increase in DevOps engineering roles over the next decade and a starting salary 77% higher for DevOps positions than the average entry-level salary in Louisiana .
