LSU Law Center Names Interim Co-Deans

BATON ROUGE (AP) — LSU has named two people to serve as interim co-deans of its Law Center.

The Advocate’s Elizabeth Crisp reports former Vice Chancellor for Student and Academic Affairs William Corbett and current Associate Dean for Academic Affairs Cheney Joseph Jr. will take the reins, effective next week.

Outgoing Chancellor Jack Weiss, who has led the Law Center for the past eight years, announced last month that he would be stepping down in August. Weiss is expected to remain on the law school's faculty.
