NEW ORLEANS – The LSU Health Foundation New Orleans has announced a partnership resulting in the expansion of Synergy Physical Therapy & Performance with the opening of a second location in the LSU Health Fitness Center in New Orleans Riverside at Federal City.
“We welcome the addition of LSU’s Synergy Physical Therapy and Performance Center to the Riverside at Federal City site and know it will be a highly accessible and professional wellness resource for the people of Algiers and the West Bank. The new center will also be an outstanding complement to our current and planned tenant mix as we continue to make progress at Federal City,” said State Senator Troy Carter, chair of the Algiers Development District Board.
“We’re beyond excited to work with the LSU Health Foundation to provide the same high standard of care that we’ve established in Jefferson Parish and are now offering on the West Bank,” says Synergy founder Chris Dysart, PT, DPT.
Synergy announces the addition of George Strangos, PT, DPT to the New Orleans Riverside at Federal City team. Strangos is certified in functional dry needling for soft tissue modality to improve range of motion and to decrease muscular pain. He is also certified in vestibular rehab which helps in the treatment of vertigo and balance disorders.
“The LSU Health Fitness center is rounding out our ability to offer care for our clients’ and community’s needs by adding the invaluable services that will come from Synergy. We’re excited Synergy will offer a full onsite physical therapy and sports injury care program to not only our membership but to the entire surrounding community, as well,” says LSU Health Foundation Executive Director of Business Ventures Ben Caplan.
