METAIRIE, LA – Wegmann Dazet & Company, one of New Orleans’ largest locally owned professional accounting and business consulting firms, has announced the promotion of Valerie Lowry, CPA, to the position of Senior Manager in the firm.
Lowry began her career with Wegmann Dazet in 2000 and also received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the Southeastern Louisiana University that same year. She is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in the state of Louisiana, and holds memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants.
Wegmann Dazet & Company traces its roots in New Orleans to the 1930’s and today has grown to 9 partners and more than 80 on staff with depth in accounting and tax issues in the oil and gas, wholesale/ retail, gaming, construction, professional service and medical industries with offices in Metairie and Covington.
