Louisiana Ranks 12th Most Fun State In America

 

NEW ORLEANS — The personal-finance website, WalletHub, today released its report on 2018’s Most Fun States in America, and Louisiana ranked No. 12 on this list.

To determine the states offering the greatest variety and most cost-effective options for enjoyment, WalletHub compared the 50 states across 26 key metrics. The data set ranges from movie costs to accessibility of national parks to casinos per capita.

Louisiana's rankings included: (1=Most Fun; 25=Avg.)
28th – Restaurants per Capita
28th – Fitness Centers per Capita
14th – Casinos per Capita
25th – Variety of Arts, Entertainment & Recreation Establishments
11th – State & Local Direct General Expenditures on Parks & Recreation per Capita

According to the report the most fun state in America is California, followed by New York, Nevada, and Florida.
