NEW ORLEANS – Kristy Chauvin is the new operations manager at the Louisiana Policy Institute for Children. She has more than 10 years of experience managing daily administrative operations, compliance and procurement, both in the public and private sectors. She will be responsible for overseeing LPIC’s daily support operations.
“Kristy Chauvin’s passion, skills and expertise will undoubtedly contribute to our continued success in advocating for policies that benefit Louisiana’s youngest learners and families,” said Dr. Libbie Sonnier, LPIC executive director.
Before joining LPIC, Chauvin served as the procurement/contracts coordinator at the New Orleans Redevelopment Authority and as a DBE support specialist at First Transit Inc. She holds an associate degree in business administration from American Intercontinental University.
“I am thrilled to join the Louisiana Policy Institute for Children team,” said Chauvin. “Supporting the increase of high-quality early care and education for children across Louisiana is something that I am truly passionate about.”
