BATON ROUGE – The Louisiana Policy Institute for Children recently announced the addition of Kristen Brown, James “Jim” Tucker and John Diez to its board of directors.
“We are thrilled to welcome Kristen, Jim and John to our board,” said Dr. Libbie Sonnier, executive director at LPIC. “We are looking forward to utilizing their extensive backgrounds to navigate new opportunities and propel our mission forward.”
Brown is president and majority owner of Brown Builders Inc., a Louisiana general contractor and design-builder with more than 52 years of experience. She has her Juris Doctorate from LSU and received her bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism and accounting from Washington and Lee University.
Tucker is president and CEO of CommCare Management Corporation, managing agent for CommCare Corporation, a not-for-profit nursing home operator. With 24 operating units and more than 2,500 patients and employees, Tucker is responsible for all operating and financial aspects of the Corporation. He has a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of New Orleans.
Diez currently serves as a public and government affairs advisor for ExxonMobil. In this role, he builds and enhances ExxonMobil’s reputation and business by crafting messages on key issues and guiding the company’s engagement with policymakers, the media, key influencers, the general public and the communities. He is a graduate of Nicholls State University with a degree in political science.
