NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Louisiana-Pacific Corp. (LPX) on Tuesday reported second-quarter profit of $162.7 million.
On a per-share basis, the Nashville, Tennessee-based company said it had net income of $1.11. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were $1.08 per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 97 cents per share.
The home construction supplier posted revenue of $810.8 million in the period.
Louisiana-Pacific shares have risen almost 6 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has risen 13 percent in the last 12 months.
