BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — A Louisiana man has won the runner-up prize in a drawing for the multi-state Powerball jackpot.

Officials say 75-year-old Glenn Feazell, of Boyce, cashed in a ticket worth $1 million from the drawing held June 23.

He says he was drinking his morning coffee when he found out he'd matched the five white balls drawn, but not the Powerball. The Alexandria Town Talk reports Feazell, and his wife, Mary, collected $710,000 after taxes were withheld Monday. The couple said they plan to use some of the prize on a new vehicle and give some to family members.

The numbers from the June 23 drawing were 16-29-43-45-56 and the Powerball was 25. The winning ticket was sold at Hilgers Texaco in Lena. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus.
