Louisiana Life Magazine To Host Launch Party, Book Signing For ‘The Essential Louisiana Seafood Cookbook’

NEW ORLEANS – Louisiana Life Magazine and its parent company Renaissance Publishing LLC announce the release of their second cookbook entitled “The Essential Louisiana Seafood Cookbook.”

         Authored by nationally acclaimed food and travel writer Stanley Dry, and photographed by New Orleans food photographer Eugenia Uhl, “The Essential Louisiana Seafood Cookbook” is a continued celebration of this essential resource from the Gulf Coast, as well as the state’s lakes, swamps, marshes and bayous. 

         A discussion and signing with author Dry and photographer Uhl will be moderated by the book’s editor and Louisiana Life managing editor Melanie Warner Spencer on Wednesday, Nov. 9, at Octavia Books, 513 Octavia St., at 6:00 p.m. Additionally, on Thursday, Nov. 10, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the public is invited to a free wine tasting and signing with Dry at Pearl Wines, 3700 Orleans Ave., in the American Can Company. Both events are open to the public and free to attend.
