NEW ORLEANS – The Hermann-Grima + Gallier Historic Houses, 820 St. Louis St., is the recipient of one of the Louisiana Landmarks Society's 2017 Awards for Excellence in Historic Preservation.
Hermann-Grima + Gallier Historic Houses reps said they received this award for their comprehensive effort to repair masonry, mortar, roofing and millwork at the Hermann-Grima House. “More importantly, a minimally-invasive climate control system was installed,” reps said. “We are pleased to join 17 other recipients of this prestigious award and offer them our congratulations.”
Hermann-Grima + Gallier Historic Houses will receive the award on April 12 at the Louisiana Landmarks Society Preservation Awards Ceremony and Reception at the Ace Hotel, 600 Carondelet St., at 5:30 p.m.
