NEW ORLEANS — With consumer demand for gas hitting an all-time high earlier this month, prices at the pump creeping up, and people across the country preparing to drive to vacation destinations, the personal-finance website WalletHub has released a report on 2018's Best & Worst States for Summer Road Trips. Louisiana ranked the 6th best state for summer road trips, including 1st best state for driving laws rating and 3rd best state for access to scenic byways.
