Louisiana Eats!, French Market Coffee Dinner Series To Benefit SoFAB

NEW ORLEANS – On Thursday, Jan. 12, WWNO's "Louisiana Eats!" host Poppy Tooker will team up with New Orleans-based French Market Coffee to present the first in a series of dinners with some of the region’s top chefs to benefit the Southern Food & Beverage Museum (SoFAB).

         On Thursday, guests can enjoy a three-course demonstration-style dinner with award-winning Chef Slade Rushing of Brennan’s Restaurant in the Rouse’s Culinary Innovation Center by Jenn-Air at SoFAB.

         Priced at $85 per person (all inclusive) dinner will include wine pairings curated by Bin 428, as well as specialty gifts provided by French Market Coffee.

         “Louisiana Eats!,” produced and hosted by Poppy Tooker, is heard weekly on NPR affiliates throughout the Gulf South and is available internationally via podcast and web streaming. Each episode takes listeners to the fields and farms, restaurant and home kitchens where the food action is really happening.
