NEW ORLEANS – On Thursday, Jan. 12, WWNO's "Louisiana Eats!" host Poppy Tooker will team up with New Orleans-based French Market Coffee to present the first in a series of dinners with some of the region’s top chefs to benefit the Southern Food & Beverage Museum (SoFAB).
On Thursday, guests can enjoy a three-course demonstration-style dinner with award-winning Chef Slade Rushing of Brennan’s Restaurant in the Rouse’s Culinary Innovation Center by Jenn-Air at SoFAB.
Priced at $85 per person (all inclusive) dinner will include wine pairings curated by Bin 428, as well as specialty gifts provided by French Market Coffee.
Dinner begins at 6:30 p.m.
The evening’s menu includes:
First Course
Egg Yolk Carpaccio
sautéed, Andouille vinaigrette, crispy sweet potato
Second Course
Coffee Crusted Pork Loin
bacon glazed turnips, broccoli rabe
Third Course
Bananas Foster
bananas, butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, rum, vanilla ice cream
