Louisiana Center for Women in Government and Business Announces Hall Of Fame Nominees

NEW ORLEANS – The 2017 Louisiana Women Leaders Conference will take place on Dec. 2 at the Marriott New Orleans at 9 a.m in conjunction with Louisiana Center for Women in Government and Business Hall of Fame event.

Hall of Fame Nominees 2017 are recognized in several categories and will be honored at the event.

-Elizabeth Smart, Founder of the “Elizabeth Smart Foundation.” Elizabeth has also helped promote The National AMBER Alert, The Adam Walsh Child Protection & Safety Act and other safety legislation to help prevent abductions.

-Mike Wagenheim, foreign correspondent in Israel (former Nicholls State University student).  Wagenheim will connect live during the conference with a female member of the Israeli Parliament to shed light on differences between opportunities for women in Israel and the United States.
