Louisiana business site search website gets high-tech revamp

The newly enhanced Louisiana Site Selection Center website was launched recently to help businesses search for and secure prospective sites and buildings throughout the state. The web-based tool for attracting businesses and industries to Louisiana is sponsored by Entergy Louisiana, with Louisiana Economic Development (LED) and economic development organizations and chambers of commerce statewide as partners.

Designed to meet the modern needs of various economic development allies, the Site Selection Center consists of an easy-to-use platform with enhanced search and property management tools. The revamped site uses a combination of geographic information system (GIS) technology, business analysis and demographic data to give users the ability to quickly access Louisiana’s available commercial sites and resources.

“When it comes to supporting LED’s business recruitment and expansion efforts, Entergy Louisiana is a critically important partner,” LED Secretary Don Pierson said. “Putting robust, high-quality information at the fingertips of in-state economic development practitioners and site selection consultants across the globe will lead to new success stories across Louisiana. LED greatly appreciates that Entergy Louisiana has renewed its commitment to LED and this extraordinary asset.”
