1g4zxxov 400x400NEW ORLEANS – The Louisiana Bar Foundation announces the establishment of the Kendall Vick Public Law Fund valued at $3 million.

To provide a path for continuing its mission, specifically with respect to the Loan Repayment Assistance Program, the Kendall Vick Public Law Foundation transitioned to a restricted fund of the LBF in December 2020. LRAP provides direct financial assistance to public interest attorneys and helps retain committed lawyers who provide quality services to clients. More information on the LBF LRAP program can be found here.

“The LBF’s longstanding relationship with the Vick Foundation enabled this seamless transition to ensure the mission envisioned by Kendall Vick will continue in perpetuity. Access to civil legal aid makes our communities stronger by helping people avoid foreclosure, protect themselves from domestic violence, gain custody of loved ones, and safeguard economic security. The LBF is grateful for the opportunity to continue financial assistance through its Kendall Vick Public Law Fund to public interest attorneys committed to helping our communities,” said Donna Cuneo, LBF executive director.
