L’Oréal Ranson Promoted to Program Director at NOWCS

Loreal RansonNEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Women & Children’s Shelter has promoted L’Oréal Ranson to the position of program director. In her new role, Ranson will continue to lead the organization’s wrap-around services and shelter programming.

“With over a decade of exemplary service, L’Oréal has been an invaluable asset to NOWCS, where she has served as the senior case manager, case management department lead and client services department lead,” said NOWCS CEO Dawn Bradley-Fletcher. “L’Oréal’s journey at NOWCS began over ten years ago, and her passion, resourcefulness and unwavering commitment to positive outcomes have made her a standout leader.”

Ranson has expertise in various areas of shelter management, including contract management, social services, case management, and quality assurance and control. She has also overseen client-owner related operations for disaster housing assistance programs following Hurricanes Katrina, Rita and Gustav.

Ranson holds a Housing Choice Voucher Specialist Certification from Nan McKay & Associates, Louisiana Life and Health Certification, an Asset Certification from the Training Institute of CBA, Civil Rights Certification for Disability, Customer Service and a Conflict Resolution Certification from the Department of Children & Family Services. Her background includes more than 10 years spent in retail buying and management as a retail product business banking account consultant, with customer service and customer relationship management software proficiency.
