Local Consulting Firm Exhibiting Growth with New Hires, Award Recognition

NEW ORLEANS – trepwise, a local impact consulting firm, is being recognized for rapid growth with new additions to it team and accolades from the local business community.

First, Chris Wimbush came on as operations manager at the end of last year. He is responsible for the company’s internal operations and development. Wimbush focuses on knowledge management, process improvement, systems and technology, and long-term planning. Wimbush also supports the business development team in its efforts and growth strategies. Prior to joining trepwise, Wimbush was with the U.S. Department of Justice resolving business and employment disputes on behalf of more than a dozen federal agencies and shared in day-to-day management of a claims settlement program that distributed hundreds of millions of dollars each year. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law and the George Washington University, where he received a B.A. in political science (Public Policy Focus). 

Next, Geoffrey Hamlyn joined the team as an Advisor and is responsible for leading and managing all facets of client engagements and ensuring they are executed to the highest standard of quality. Hamlyn brings experience in program evaluation, non-profit governance, strategic communications, and public policy. Prior to joining the trepwise team, Hamlyn managed and consulted for non-profit and for-profit organizations across the United States and, most recently, consulted for a large federal agency on the development and implementation of a communications and stakeholder engagement strategy for a multi-year technology transformation impacting over 200 million Americans.  A native of El Paso, Texas, Geoffrey holds a B.M. from the University of Texas at Austin, Master of Music from the Juilliard School in New York City, and Masters in Public Policy from Duke University.

Lastly, Genevieve Douglass most recently came on as Marketing Director. She is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans for trepwise. Her focus is on strategy, research and content creation with the goals of driving increased awareness, deepening communications with current and former clients, and supporting the build-out of the business development pipeline for the company. Deliverables range from social media strategy and management to the creation of marketing materials to representing the organization at community and networking events. Douglass is a public relations and marketing specialist with more than ten years in the industry, as well as a former entrepreneur. A native New Orleanian, she attended Auburn University and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations from The University of Alabama.

Selection was based on detailed nomination criteria such as salaries, benefits, retention levels and employee advancement, as well as a survey of company employees to measure workplace culture.
