NEW ORLEANS – Explore the opportunities for collaboration in the aerospace and defense sectors, even if your business has never done so before, at The American Institute for Aeronautics and Astronautics’ (AIAA) “Beyond B2B: Connecting For Growth” one-day conference, Thursday, Oct. 12, at the Renaissance New Orleans Arts Warehouse District Hotel, 700 Tchoupitoulas St.
As large firms seek out the innovation happening among small businesses and entrepreneurs, AIAA aims to connect the two sides. The conference will inform small businesses what the aerospace industry needs and what small businesses and entrepreneurs have to offer industrial leaders.
This program has been developed in conjunction with GE Aviation and Jacobs. GE asked AIAA to create a forum that would give them the opportunity to find and interact with small businesses and entrepreneurs who have new and innovative ideas, and with whom they might form collaborative R&D or advanced technology development partnerships. Jacobs has successfully organized many of NASA’s Industry Days and has been instrumental in shaping the agenda and event activities, reps said.
