Liquid Gold

Feb. 16, 2017 witnessed the arrival of a rare commodity at the Port of New Orleans. Cane Land Distilling company received its much-anticipated shipment of Original Mississippi Floated Whiskey. The whiskey barrels traveled more than 1,100 nautical miles down the Mississippi River by barge. Empire Stevedoring handled the breakbulk shipment and it was trucked to Baton Rouge, Louisiana for bottling and distribution.
