NEW ORLEANS —The Certified Louisiana Economic Developer (CLED) credential will offer it's next CLED elective on Tuesday, June 19 through Wednesday, June 20 at Southeast Louisiana Business Center in Hammond. Earlybird rates end on May 17.
CLED credential is highly respected within the profession. The certification path is designed for economic development professionals new to the discipline, Chamber of Commerce staff, elected officials, and local civic leaders interested in learning more about the field of economic development. The program is offered in Hammond and New Orleans by nationally recognized economic development experts with content tailored specifically to the state of Louisiana.
The Developing and Attracting Retail Course will introduce economic developers to the decision process that retail companies use to choose locations. The course covers models that retail companies use to estimate retail sales at a particular site. It also covers the financial models that retail developers use to prioritize retail project investment.
