NEW ORLEANS – Levees.org will host a 15th anniversary observance of the “worst civil engineering disaster” in US History from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 25. The one-hour virtual expert panel discussion will be moderated by Harry Shearer (producer of The Big Uneasy). Guest panelists include Gary Rivlin, author of 2010 book Katrina: After the Flood; Rudy Vorkapic, creator of the satirical newspaper The Levee; retired Lt. Gen. Russel Honoré; and Flozell Daniels, CEO and president of Foundation for Louisiana.Â
