NEW ORLEANS — On Wednesday, March 28 from 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. at the JEDCO Conference Center, JEDCO and the Jefferson Chamber will host a Prosper Jefferson seminar on Growing a Business in Jefferson Parish. The event will cost $5 and includes a hot breakfast.
This is the second of a three-part series on the life cycle of a business. Experts from a variety of industries will be in attendance to share their insight and advice on some important business basics, including:
- Creating and implementing a business plan
- Identifying funding sources
- Pitching to Angel investors
- How to obtain government contracts
- Case Study: How one local business grew into a local powerhouse
