LCMC Health Names Dawn Zell Wright Chief Human Resources Officer

NEW ORLEANS – Dawn Zell Wright is the new chief human resources officer at LCMC Health. 

In previous roles at other healthcare organizations, she has worked to align operations strategy with business goals, develop leaders, and drive sustainable organizational improvements.

“Dawn Zell Wright is a transformative leader who has played a key role in bringing together complex, growing healthcare systems through her strategic partnerships,” said Greg Feirn, LCMC Health CEO. “Her ability to foster highly reliable organizations for patient outcomes, employee experience, and community impact makes her a perfect fit for LCMC Health. Wright joined Christus Health in November 2021 as system vice president of human resources operations. Prior to that, she served as vice president of human resources for the northcentral region of Pennsylvania at UPMC and director of human resources for CommonSpirit Health’s Catholic Health Initiatives Texas division. She also is a litigator and defense attorney specializing in minority rights issues.

Wright earned her undergraduate degree in behavioral science from Concordia University Texas, an MBA from West Texas A&M, and a Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law. She is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification.
