NEW ORLEANS — Laura M. Blockman has joined the law firm of Barrasso Usdin Kupperman Freeman & Sarver. She focuses her practice on commercial, insurance coverage and bad faith, and securities litigation. She received her Juris Doctor magna cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in political science from University of Miami. While in law school, she served as a senior notes and comments editor for the University of Miami Law Review and served as a summer law clerk for the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida.
