NEW ORLEANS — Michael Laughlin has joined Red River Bank as vice president and commercial banker for the New Orleans market. The lifelong New Orleans resident earned his undergraduate degree in finance from the University of Louisiana-Lafayette and then earned his MBA from the University of New Orleans. He has over a decade of commercial banking experience.
“We are delighted to welcome Michael to Red River Bank,” said Meghan Donelon, New Orleans market president. “He brings a great deal of enthusiasm to our growing team that I know will serve us well. Michael already has a wonderful reputation within the banking community, and I’m confident he will represent the businesses of this area with integrity and personal attention that is second-to-none.”
The bank recently broke ground on a new branch in Metairie that is expected to open next summer.
“I’m proud of being born and raised in New Orleans and am excited to join a team so actively involved in the community. The projected growth of the bank over the next few years opens so many positive opportunities for this area. I relish the chance to be part of the foundation that will lead to positive growth and a strong stable future for the New Orleans region for decades to come,” said Laughlin.
