CHALMETTE, LA – Today is the last day to RSVP for the St. Bernard Chamber’s August luncheon featuring guest speaker Kenneth Polite, U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
As U.S. Attorney, Polite oversees the investigation and litigation of all criminal and civil cases brought on behalf of the United States in the Eastern District of Louisiana, which consists of the thirteen parishes located in South Louisiana including St. Bernard. Cases include narcotics and arms trafficking, white-collar crime, public corruption, gang violence, organized crime, and civil rights violations.
The event will take place on Wednesday, August 19, 2015, at Chalmette Elementary’s Second Floor Training Room, 75 E. Chalmette, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
The event will cost $20 for Chamber members and $25 for future members.
