Landry Appoints Schowen Secretary of Louisiana Workforce Commission

170437495770898136BATON ROUGE – On Jan. 3, Governor-Elect Jeff Landry announced the appointment of Susana “Susie” Schowen as secretary of the Louisiana Workforce Commission. Schowen has experience in economic and workforce development, education and policy building on her tenure as vice president of education for the Louisiana Community and Technical College System. Her appointment will be effective on Monday, Jan. 8, 2024.
