As the aging services industry continues to reel in the aftermath of COVID-19 and the Delta variant, Lambeth House has found its footing and is now a nationally recognized leader for its response during the pandemic. With early identification of impacts of the pandemic on seniors, Lambeth House’s management team took bold, decisive measures to ensure a swift and safe return to normalcy for the lives of its residents and staff. Since the COVID vaccine became available last year, this Uptown retirement center was the first in the city, the first in the state, and one of the first in the nation to attain a 100 perecent COVID vaccination rate for both residents and staff.
Primarily known for its focus on healthy aging, Lambeth House offers independent living seniors an array of amenities that includes upscale dining, vibrant activities, a saltwater pool, and a state-of-the-art fitness center. As a Life Plan community, Lambeth House also offers supportive services such as assisted living and 24-hour nursing care.
Most recently, the organization proudly introduced a special program for families of seniors with dementia called Through Their Eyes. Created by Lambeth House’s Lifestyles Coordinator, Kasey Bealer, Through Their Eyes is a progressive educational series that uses a new and innovative approach to better connect dementia-affected seniors and their families.
