COVINGTON, LA – On Tuesday, February 23, 2016, Lakeview Regional Medical Center (LRMC) will present “This Isn’t Your Grandma’s NFP,” a free introduction and overview of the Creighton Model of natural family planning, at LRMC’s Pelican Room from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Dr. Christine Hemphill, a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology, will host an educational session to review the fundamentals of how the Creighton Model works as a method of natural family planning, and how this method can help treat gynecologic problems through NaPro Technology – an approach that focuses on fertility-care vs. fertility-control.
Dr. Christine Hemphill is also part of the Gianna Center of the Gulf South, an affiliate of the National Gianna Center.
Anyone who wants to learn more about a non-hormonal form of family planning, how to overcome infertility, treat PMS or abnormal menstrual cycles or more about the Creighton Method/NaPro Technology, is encouraged to attend.
LRMC is a 172-bed, full-service, acute care, community hospital that employs 850 staff members and has been delivering health care for more than 35 years.
