METAIRIE, La. – Athletic apparel retailer Lululemon has re-opened in an expanded space at Lakeside Shopping Center. The new store, located next to Apple in the Macy’s wing of the mall, fills more than 6,200 square feet of space, which is twice the size of Lululemon’s previous Lakeside spot.
Founded by Chip Wilson in Vancouver, Canada in 1998, the brand now claims more than 600 retail outlets in 18 countries.
“Lululemon’s new store offers shoppers transformative products and experiences that build meaningful connections and unlock greater potential and wellbeing for all,” said a mall spokesperson.
Among other products, the store sells Lululemon branded running shoes for women.
