THIBODAUX, LA (AP) — Officials say two clusters of affordable housing units in Lafourche Parish are nearing completion.
The 12 single-family units are the result of collaboration between the Lafourche government, Lafourche Housing Authority and Lafourche ARC.
Seven of the housing units were built in Raceland. The remaining five are in Thibodaux.

The Daily Comet’s Chris Leblanc reports the units, which were paid for by $3 million in federal Community Development Block Grant money, should be ready for occupancy by the end of the year.
