LAFAYETTE, LA (AP) — Officials with Lafayette General Health say they will acquire Regional Medical Center of Acadiana later this year from HCA MidAmerica, a division of the Nashville, TN-based Hospital Corporation of America.
The Advocate’s Marsha Sills reports the deal is expected to be complete in the fourth quarter of 2015. Officials say the 128-bed hospital will be renamed Lafayette General Southwest.
