Lachin, Jr. Promoted To Vice President/Partner of LACHIN Architects, APC.

NEW ORLEANS – David Lachin, Jr., AIA, has been promoted to vice president/partner in LACHIN Architects, apc.  Lachin began his career with the firm 11 years ago as a summer intern while attending the LSU School of Architecture. Upon graduating in 2009, he joined the firm’s permanent staff as an intern architect, then as a project architect after earning his licensure. Most recently, he has spearheaded major projects such as the J. Garic Schoen Chapel addition at Schoen & Sons Funeral Home, Arlene Meraux Elementary School, and the N.P. Trist Middle School expansion.

“David represents the fifth generation of the Lachin family involved in the building arts and architecture in New Orleans,” according to Michael G. Lachin, AIA, president of LACHIN Architects. “He will be instrumental in leading the firm into the future, ensuring continued success that began with my great-grandfather in the early 1900’s.”

David Lachin’s goals for the firm include creating new relationships, establishing a dynamic office culture, and continuing to leverage technology to increase productivity.  “I look forward to building on the success of LACHIN Architects and continuing to provide our clients with the highest quality services based on communication, trust, and respect.”
